A long lane winds through the woods and past a bubbling creek before it comes out into an open field. At the other end of the field stands a stunning home that makes you feel like that magical lane transplanted you to the Italian countryside. The Andrews Farm is a family home, working farm, and Charlotte wedding venue. I can’t wait to share pictures and all the countless options The Andrews Farm offers! From a secret garden wedding to a poolside reception, you can truly do anything you could ever dream of at this Charlotte wedding venue!
The Andrews Farm is a relatively new Charlotte wedding venue having only been in the industry for a year or two, but they do weddings with style, elegance, and so much class. The Andrews family lives in the home on the farm, and they also have a small AirBnB cabin deep in the heart of the farm. They kept receiving requests from people who wanted to host their wedding at the cabin, but they always said “no” because they just didn’t know how their cabin could logistically host a wedding! But then Hunter Andrews had the brilliant thought—but what about our house?!?
So they gave it a try, and it was such a success that they knew they had to keep going with it! They now accept up to 20 weddings/year, and they book completely up quickly! And for good reason because their property is absolutely gorgeous. They can make any style of wedding you could ever dream up not only possible but better than your biggest dreams.
Hunter and the Andrews Family really had their couples and their families in mind when they planned how to turn their home into a wedding venue. They have a guest suite in the home that serves as a beautiful, light-filled bridal suite on wedding days. And the groomsmen have the option of using the AirBnB cabin for their getting ready space. Everything is all on one property which just makes the whole day so much simpler! Check out more below.
One of my favorite options The Andrews Farm offers is their stunning garden area. With crepe myrtles and roses and tons of greenery you really feel like you’re in a secret garden. They have a natural arch where you and your love can stand while you promise one another forever. Your family and friends can sit in the shade, joyously present on the best day of your life. And, with all the gorgeous greenery, your photographer can really make magic with your ceremony images. 😉 This gorgeous area is also unique in that you also have the option of turning the whole thing around so that the house is your background instead of the greenery, if you want a more “modern garden” look.
That heading doesn’t even do this option justice. If you want your guests to feel like you’ve treated them to a destination wedding in Italy then you’re going to love this option! On one side of the house is this gorgeous, wide, sweeping drive with greenery lining one side and the ivy-covered white walls of the house on the other. You could set up an arbor at one end of the drive with the aisle and seating for your guests, or they also have a small terraced area in the hedge with space for a smaller, more intimate group. Either way this is one option that is completely unique. I haven’t seen anything like this at any other Charlotte wedding venue!
Remember those enchanting woods I talked about at the beginning? Well, tucked into those woods is the most perfect woodland nook you could ever imagine. If you’ve always dreamed of a wedding surrounded by birds singing and tall trees stretching up to Heaven, then you can’t do better than this little corner at The Andrews Farm! Imagine walking down a petal-strewn aisle until you round a corner, and there, tucked in the woods waiting for you is the love of your life. Like that scene from the wedding in Twilight, candles twinkle and there are flowers everywhere. Your family and friends smile on, and your soon-to-be husband’s eyes spill over with tears as you walk towards him looking like a woodland queen. It’s better than you ever even dreamed it could be.
The Andrews Farm offers one last ceremony option (though if you tour and fall in love with another corner of the farm, they are more than happy to work with you!), and this one may be my very favorite. The field in front of the house is huge with an old oak tree in one corner. The tree has a branch that is perfect for draping some graceful fabric and greenery to create a beautiful arch. The field beyond sometimes has wheat or another crop growing, but, when I was there, it had daffodils blooming in it. Either way, this is another truly beautiful option!
Any of the locations I mentioned above would be lovely for any part of your wedding day: the ceremony, cocktail hour, or your reception. They really can make absolutely any dream come true! I cannot recommend The Andrews Farm more highly; they’re kind and welcoming with so much knowledge and ability to completely blow you away in how they bring your wedding dreams to life!
Pictured below but not mentioned in the text: some beautiful hidden spots perfect for portrait time and the pool area which would make a perfect place to host cocktail hour!
