Elias: 6 Months

Half a year. How has this sweet boy of mine been here for half a year already?!? Elias is truly the sweetest, snuggliest, smiley-iest little boy! He laughs these deep belly laughs when you tickle his ribs or boop his nose, and he smiles to everyone he meets (just don’t try to take him out of his momma’s arms– he’s really good at this social distancing thing and prefers that his friends keep their distance 😉 ).

Our boy is a morning person who loves digging his toes in the grass, puts everything straight into his mouth, and rambunctiously and devotedly tries to crawl. So far he has made little forward success, though, to his deep frustration, he does consistently scoot backwards.

Elias mastered sitting up this month. He babbles constantly about Dada and has been practicing his B’s, L’s, and P’s lately, too. I’ve even heard him say Mama once or twice. We’ve tried a couple of foods with him, but he isn’t so into that yet. He snuggles sweetly when he’s sleepy but is our little wild man the rest of the time with all sorts of squeals and roars. He thinks his sisters are hilarious, is Daddy’s biggest fan, and gazes at his momma in such adoration that it melts my heart every time.

Elias, you are the best baby boy I know, and we love you with all our hearts.

Oh, I forgot to mention that he’s suuuuper into grabbing things, especially his own toes, so all of his 6 month pictures look basically the same. I apologize in advance for the redundancy in these images. 😉
