Well, somehow 3 months have flown by since I last shared a Baby Elias update. He’s 5 months old today, and while I have managed to take update pictures each month I somehow haven’t managed to find the time to blog them. But that changes today!! I’m sharing his 4- and 5- month pictures all in one big post. Beware: vast amounts of cuteness ahead. 😉
Our growing boy weighed in at a whopping 17 pounds 5 ounces at his 4 month check-up, so I can only guess that he must be in the 19 pound range by now. He was 26 inches long at that four month visit. Little man easily rolls from front to back and from back to front. He scoots on his belly, and, when I let him play on the floor, he never stays in the same spot anymore choosing instead to roll and scoot wherever he wants to go. In other words, I think it’s about time to put the baby gates up. 😉
He smiles and laughs easily and often. His sisters are no less smitten with him today than they were the day he was born. Afton read her first book a couple of weeks ago, and, of course, Elias was the happy audience to the occasion. He’s equally in love with Afton and Adia who never tire of his smiles and giggles.
Elias’ true hero, however, is his Daddy. He chants “DaDa” all day long and lights up like a little firefly the second Daddy comes home from work. He has the sweetest little voice; I could listen to it all day long (even though I’m impatiently awaiting the day he says “Mama”). Elias’ blue eyes seem to be changing, though I can’t quite tell whether they’re going to be brown or green. He looks just like his Daddy, so I’m holding out hope for a little green-eyed boy. He has to have something in common with his mama, right?!? 😉
Sweet Baby Elias, we are so in love with you. You add so much joy to our home!! We can’t imagine life without you and your precious smiles, and we can’t wait to watch more of your wild personality develop. You’re the best baby boy we know. 🙂
