A Circle M Farm Wedding

The day of this gorgeous Circle M Farm Wedding dawned clear, bright, and warm. The farmhouse at Circle M Farm bustled with activity as the hair and makeup artists finished their work. Meghan’s mom, looking beautiful in her floor-length gown, helped Meghan into her dress. Surrounded by bridesmaids, Meghan turned around, and everyone gasped; she was absolutely stunning. And the best part? The day was just beginning; her groom was on his way. Fifteen minutes later, Luke stood on the farmhouse porch with his back to the door. Already feeling all the emotions, Meghan opened the door and called his name. He turned and, seeing his bride for the first time that day, he (and all the rest of us) lost it. She was even more beautiful than he’d imagined she’d be. It lasted only a moment, but this first look moment kicked off the most important day of their lives. And, it was perfect.

The Beginning

Meghan and Luke first met when they sat across from one another at a board game group. They started talking and laughing about memes they had saved on their phones during a lull in the game. Luke really liked one meme, so Meghan got his number in order to text that meme to him. They kept texting and talking from there until the next natural step was to go on a date. Their relationship continued to develop until one evening when Luke decided that a date to recreate how they met would be fun. So they started out at the restaurant where the board game group met. Afterwards, Luke suggested a walk down to a park. Meghan remembers wondering why he was so insistent on going to this park, but she went along with it. They ended up at Marshall Park just as the sun set behind the Charlotte city skyline. Luke dropped to one knee, and the rest, as they say, is history.

And now, eight months later, everyone gathered to witness and celebrate their marriage! The absolute joy of the day was almost overwhelming. Not only were Meghan and Luke so excited to marry one another, but every guest present was just as excited for them! They fought to get to this moment, and the reward of a completely perfect and joy-filled day made everything so worth it. Smiles covered every face; more than a few tears of joy were shed over the course of the day; the dance floor was packed all night. Guests laughed, sang, chatted, and danced, and Meghan and Luke laughed, sang, chatted, and danced right in the very center of it all. Like I said: perfection.

You are two of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met, and I consider it an honor to not only capture your incredible wedding day but to also call you friends. You are so incredible together. From the easy way you make one another laugh to the way you fiercely fight for and protect one another, it is easy to see that yours is a love that will stand the test of time. Meghan stunned in her Savvy Bride Boutique wedding gown, and the bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful in their pale eucalyptus gowns from David’s Bridal.
