Lake Junaluska Engagement: Lexi and Victor

They’ve known each other since grade school and even dated for a little while in high school. Things didn’t quite work out then, but they reconnected a few years later. He’d visit her in college, and their relationship grew. I was able to hear Lexi and Victor’s story in person a couple of weeks ago at their Lake Junaluska Engagement, and I am so excited to share it with you today!!

The Story

They’d been dating for a while, and they’d even talked marriage before. Everyone knew that was where this relationship was heading; it was just a matter of time. Still, she wasn’t quite expecting it one day when Victor asked her if she wanted to go to Chimney Rock. In fact, her answer to that invitation was, “No.” She didn’t want to go hiking that day. But he assured her that no hiking was required; in fact, they could drive right to the top. And, with that, he convinced her.

They drove up to Chimney Rock. On the way there Lexi noticed that Victor was quieter than usual. He seemed nervous. She wondered if maybe there was a reason for that nervousness. Maybe today would be the day! The thought did cross her mind.

Regardless, Lexi brought her camera and was busily snapping away when Victor called her name. She turned around, and there he was on one knee. And, to this question, she whole-heartedly said, ‘Yes!”

A Lake Junaluska Engagement

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated Lexi and Victor’s engagement by taking their engagement portraits at the beautiful Lake Junaluska. Set in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Lake Junaluska is a gorgeous location! It was the perfect place for a morning engagement session!

And Lexi and Victor were amazing! Their easy way of being together shows just how comfortable and confident they make one another feel. Quick to laugh, they clearly love spending time together and are one another’s favorite partner in crime. They’re kind and friendly, and I absolutely can’t wait to see them again at their wedding in just a few more months!
