A Virgina Fall Wedding: Elsa and Gabe

Two weeks ago my sister-in-law married the love of her life in a beautiful Virginia fall wedding. It truly was a family affair in the way everyone pulled together, loved, and served to make the day a masterpiece. Elsa designed the invitations and programs herself; one of her sisters made the jewelry, foraged for florals and created the most beautiful fall bouquets; various family members and friends provided all the music; friends from church stepped in to coordinate the day, cook the food, and so much more. And, at the center of it, were Elsa and Gabe.

You may remember their engagement session from earlier this summer and their sweet beach engagement story. Their wedding built onto that so perfectly! From the way they interact with their family, friends, and–of course–one another to the pure joy everyone shared with them the whole day Elsa and Gabe’s wedding day could not have been more perfect!

A Virginia Fall Wedding

Elsa looked like a queen–the epitome of grace and beauty–and Gabe radiated so much pride and joy over his bride. Every member of the wedding party was overjoyed to be a part of the day, and every guest celebrated so fully and joyfully with them that it truly felt like a party from the moment you stepped into the getting ready room until the grand exit at the end of the night.

The details were beautiful, and the spirit of the day was joy. Elsa and Gabe shared their contagious joy with each guest and vendor involved and made each one of us feel perfectly welcomed and appreciated. Everyone danced, celebrated, and had so much fun!
