Nichel and Shannon’s Uptown Engagement

After a romantic date at a gorgeous restaurant right on the Greenway that runs through Uptown Charlotte, Nichel and Shannon went for a little walk. As they approached one particular fountain and sat on a bench, Shannon drew Nichel’s attention to something on the bench behind her. He may or may not have led her to believe there was something creepy-crawly about to get her, but, to her great surprise (and relief!) there was a breath-taking ring with a perfect, heart-shaped diamond designed especially for her. She said “Yes!” and this weekend we got to celebrate that yes at the spot where Shannon proposed with a picture-perfect engagement session.

To their friends, Nichel and Shannon are the Ultimate Duo, and it doesn’t take long to see why. These two are clearly best friends, and the fun and chemistry they share are palpable. I loved hanging with them and being a small part of their story.
