Kendra and Carlos’ Engaged

They met under the Christmas tree in Uptown Charlotte one chilly December night. He called her “sister,” and she told him that she was NOT his sister. But, from there, they hit it off. And then, one summer evening at the beach, he asked her if she wanted to take a walk. He didn’t have a specific plan, and she didn’t see it coming, but, all of a sudden, there he was. On one knee. Asking her a question that would change her life. She made him a little nervous when she didn’t answer right away, but she just had to pause a bit to savor the moment before saying, “YES!” And now, with wedding planning in full swing, they paused again to savor the moment.

I got to take these engagement portraits for Kendra and Carlos recently, and I am so glad I did! Kendra, I loved seeing how Carlos loves to make you laugh! And Carlos, I loved seeing how proud you were every time you succeeded! I wish you both all the best, and I hope you know how much I loved spending some time with you guys. Congratulations!
