The Confession That Started it All

“He’s kinda cute!” Those three words, which should’ve been a secret, started something big and even led to a Charlotte engagement. They were out with friends, hanging out, and having a good time. Neither of them was looking for a relationship, but, when something is just right, what else can you do?

What started as a few texts quickly grew into something much more. A few years later they celebrated 1 year of living together. Justin told Emy that he was planning to buy her a new Pandora charm for the occasion, so she was ready for a little jewelry. 😉 Little did she know he had MUCH bigger plans than just a new Pandora charm.

A Charlotte Engagement

When she arrived home that evening last October, she discovered that Justin had hidden clues around their apartment. She followed each clue to the next, still having no idea what was really going on. It probably seemed like a lot of work when she already knew that she was getting a new Pandora charm! But she diligently followed each clue until she reached the last one.

At last she reached the final clue. It was on their patio. Carefully she opened the piece of paper and read two simple words. “Turn around.” Still not knowing what was coming, she slowly turned around, and there she saw the last thing she’d ever expected. Justin was on one knee. He had a little black letter board sign in his hands that read, “Will you marry me?” She was in absolute shock! But, she finally managed to get out her “YES!”

And now they’re planning what’s sure to be a beautiful summer wedding next summer!! Justin and Emy, I had such a wonderful time with you two for your Uptown Charlotte engagement session! The easy way the two of you get along with each other is so special! I can so easily see that your relationship is truly based on a deep friendship as well as a deep love, and I know you have a beautiful life ahead!! Keep enjoying every moment! You’re only engaged once, and I love how you’re choosing to enjoy this season!! I truly wish you all the best!!
