Freedom Park Engagement: Demesha and James

You know those couples? The ones you meet, and you just see so clearly how they fit absolutely perfectly together? You kind of hope it’s there when you hear of an engagement, but with some it’s just like there’s no question that they have it: the kind of love that lasts a lifetime and makes the world feel brighter on even the rainiest day. That’s James and Demesha.

They’d known each other for a while but never dated. Then Demesha went through one of the hardest seasons of her life. She needed a friend, and, to her surprise, the person who stepped up for her was James. And he wasn’t only there for her. In many ways, he rescued her. They’ve now been together for nearly four years!!

I didn’t know James and Demesha during that hard time, but I can say that the joy and the quiet confidence she carries is real and deep. And I think a huge cause of that is the love James showers her with. Every interaction convinced me more that they know exactly how blessed they are to have each other.

We met last weekend for a beautiful, sunny, spring engagement session at Freedom Park, and it was perfect!! I am so excited to show you these gorgeous images!
