I first shared about North Corner Haven’s Cherished (micro) Weddings last year when they first offered this beautiful alternative option to a big wedding day. You’ll find some more details of that here. But I realized that I haven’t shared any of the actual Cherished Weddings here yet! Part of the reason for this apparent oversight is because a couple of them are being published elsewhere in the coming weeks, so I’m not allowed to blog them here. But Kathryn and Logan’s North Corner Haven microwedding was so beautiful and full of joy that I can’t go another week without sharing!
As with all their events, a North Corner Haven microwedding truly stuns. With gorgeous and unique floral designs from Proper Flower of Charlotte and Becky’s event expertise these couples could not be in better hands! Kathryn and Logan were certainly no exception.
The moment Kathryn walked through the vineyard and Logan first laid eyes on her, his eyes filled with tears. Usually one to laugh and joke around, Logan (and everyone else in attendance) were just blown away by how beautiful Kathryn looked! And rightfully so! The sun glowed through the trees of the orchard as they said their vows at the foot of the cross. Kathryn’s dad, after walking her down the aisle, stepped up to officiate. He reminded them that they must together lean on and trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to lead them in their marriage. That to do so strengthens their marriage until it is unbreakable.
Dad oversaw his little girl exchange rings with the love of her life. He charged Logan with caring for and protecting Kathryn’s heart. And, when the moment finally arrived to pronounce them husband a wife and seal the deal with a kiss, Dad drug it out. Neither Kathryn nor Logan could keep from laughing with joy when he finally said those magic words, “Logan, you may kiss your bride!”
After the ceremony, everyone retired to the courtyard to enjoy drinks, appetizers, and time celebrating together. Kathryn and Logan were able to visit with each guest, and then they shared their first dance as husband and wife as the stars came out. And, like any good celebration, the evening concluded with cake. 😉 It was a perfect North Corner Haven Microwedding.
Kathryn and Logan, I know your wedding day will be one you remember and treasure forever! It was a stunning evening to begin your life together. Watching the two of you together is all the proof anyone needs to know that you’re truly meant for one another. Kathryn, you absolutely glow when Logan does his crazy antics to make you laugh. That glow becomes one of pride and spreads to Logan when he succeeds. 🙂 Keep laughing together; it really makes the years so sweet. I wish you both all the best and pray your life together will be filled with every blessing imaginable.
