They met in youth group when he was a senior in high school, and she was a freshman. He thought she was sweet; she thought he was the life of the party. Even though they both had a lot going for them their relationship didn’t progress until a year and a half later. You may remember their engagement session from a year ago, and today I am over the moon to share with you Cameron and Grace’s stunning Appalachia Hills wedding!
If a day could be perfect then Grace and Cameron’s wedding day was exactly that: perfect. From the joy everyone shared to the love of the bride and groom and the way this Appalachia Hills wedding was just alive with celebration this day was a dream.
Grace wore the belt her sister wore for her own wedding just 6 months before. Her bouquet was wrapped in a piece of lace that had been removed from her mom’s wedding dress. And her grandmother’s fur mantle adorned her shoulders. Everyone truly pulled as a team, lavishing this beautiful couple in their love and support. And, when it was time for the bride to walk down the aisle, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Grace and Cameron exchanged vows and rings, took their first communion as a married couple, and sealed it all with a kiss. And just like that they were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd.
Grace and Cameron, you two are two of the most fun people to be around. You delight in making others laugh, in celebrating the joys of your friends and welcoming them into celebrating your own joys, and in time spent together. To be honest, I’d say you’re both the life of the party. 😉 And this ability to make any circumstance a reason to celebrate will carry you far.
The way you love one another is so sweet and special, and your excitement to begin your married life together was contagious. I know God has wonderful things for you both and your marriage, and I can’t wait to see those plans unfold!! Thank you for giving me the honor of being a part of your beautiful day!! I wish you all the best!
You can’t have a stunning day like Grace and Cameron’s without a talented team of vendors. The beautiful venue was Appalachian Hills in Calaway, Virginia. Grace’s dress came from Proms, Pageants, and Pretty things, and the floral design was expertly created by Creative Occasions Flowers and Gifts. The talented videographers were Shawn and Katie of Thorns and Thistles Videography, and I can’t wait to see the finished product!
Cameron and Grace, your day was perfect! And it was only the beginning! Here’s to a lifetime of love and laughter together!
