Vendor Spotlight: Uptown Indigo

I recently got to tour one of the coolest wedding venues I’ve ever seen. Uptown Indigo is located in Shelby, North Carolina, less than an hour outside of Charlotte; their tagline is “Modern Elegance. Historic Charm.” and I cannot tell you how perfectly those four words describe this awesome spot. The building itself dates back to the 1920s, but it had been empty for 12 years when a Shelby family decided to revive it. They’ve spent the last 3 years pouring into this space, and it has certainly paid off! From the original hardwood floors to the handmade tiles in the bathroom to the rooftop with breathtaking sunset mountain views, every inch of Uptown Indigo is perfection!

The best part may very well be the fact that choosing Uptown Indigo as your wedding venue goes so far beyond the beautiful building and Shelby’s pretty downtown just mere steps away. Their heart really is to craft a beautiful experience for everyone who enters and to make sure that all of your wedding day dreams become reality! They were wrapping up the last bit of renovations when I was there, so they weren’t set up in all their event elegance, so I could only capture a couple of detail photos while I was there.
