Kindergarten. A time for learning to read, counting to 100, coloring, pasting, and…meeting your future spouse?
He chased her around the playground. The shrieks of happy children playing filled the air. Her mom still has their first picture together. When she stole his red crayon he had no idea that one day she’d give it back during their engagement session. But that’s how it happened. From two little kids sitting in the same story time circle to 19 years later when they finally started dating to now, celebrating their engagement and making plans for a dream destination wedding in the Caribbean.
When Sarah reached out to me about their engagement portraits and told me the above story I was so excited! Then when she added that they were bringing details of their Kindergarten love story AND their two dogs…well, excited doesn’t even begin to cover it! Sarah and Luke, you guys are two of the kindest, warmest people I’ve ever worked with. The patience you show one another and your two sweet pooches is incredible! You didn’t stop smiling the whole evening. You absolutely radiate with joy, and I know that your marriage is going to be just as full of life, love, joy, and laughter. I wish you all the best!! Have an amazing time in the Caribbean next summer when you marry!!
Congratulations, Sarah and Luke!!
